Wes mingus


Wes is a professional guitarist, producer, and teacher, currently living in Jersey City, NJ. Originally from Dover, DE, Wes was exposed to a wide range of the arts from an early age, and has been performing since the age of four. He has a Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music and has worked in many genres and styles with luminaries such as The Roots, Lee “Scratch” Perry, Wu-Tang Clan, Bilal, The Revelations, and many more.

In addition to being an instrumentalist, Wes has contributed writing and production to a variety of projects, notably co-writing, co-producing and playing many different instruments on Ghostface Killah's critically acclaimed album 36 Seasons, as well as contributions to numerous other Wu-Tang projects. Wes has also composed and performed theme music for ESPN, and is currently working on a film scoring project for a short film.
